Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with:

  • Payment providers — to take payment securely

  • Hauliers and delivery drivers — your name, delivery address and phone number, so they can deliver and book in with you
  • Email marketing provider — if you have subscribed

  • Our accountant, and HMRC or other authorities — where legally required
  • Professional advisers, where necessary

All processors are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the UK Government's adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: 7 years, to meet HMRC and company law requirements
  • Custom order specifications and drawings: 6 years, in case of a later dispute or repeat order
  • Customer accounts: until you ask us to delete them
  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, or after 3 years of no engagement
  • Quotes and enquiries with no order: 2 years
  • Website analytics: up to 26 months

Cookies

  • Strictly necessary — cart, checkout, security and session cookies. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional — remember preferences such as recently viewed products.
  • Analytics — show us in aggregate which pages are used.
  • Marketing — only with your consent; used to measure advertising.

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the checkout working.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data, where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it
  • Restriction — ask us to pause our use of your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Object — to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time

Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. Unsubscribing does not affect emails about an order you have placed.

Security

We use HTTPS/TLS across the site, limit access to personal data to those who need it, and use PCI DSS compliant payment processors so card details never reach our systems. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them regularly.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator:
